We recognize that life is a series of sovereign events, some easy and some with measures of pain. Yet for us, Christ is a living reality and not just a page in history. He proves to be a deep river of love, compassion, and strength that continually flows through every circumstance of life. Christ makes all the difference in our lives, and we strive to make these beliefs real through our daily walk. The Gospel of Matthew says, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself" (22:39).
