Pastoral Staff
Pastor Scott, raised in the San Fernando Valley, graduated from Los Angeles Baptist College (now The Master's College) in 1985. He earned his Master of Divinity from The Master's Seminary in 1988 and earned his Doctorate of Ministry through Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
After graduation, Pastor Ardavanis pastored for five years at Grace Community Church and served as an adjunct faculty member at The Master's Seminary, teaching Pastoral Ministry and Preaching. Scott spent nine years as the senior pastor of Grace Church of DuPage in Chicago, Illinois and began his pastoral ministry at Placerita Baptist Church in 2003. He currently teaches The Master's College.
Pastor Ardavanis met his wife Patty at Grace Community Church. They have been married 20 years and have seven children: Kristine, Kyle, Jon, Alyssa, Emy, Lauren, and Lindsay

Pastor David is a native of California spending his teen age years in Visalia. He graduated from The Master's College with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and completed his Master of Divinity at The Master's Seminary. He has ministered as the Associate Pastor for Placerita Baptist Church since January of 1994.
Pastor Kaneversky and his wife, Erin, were married in August 1990 and have four children: Townsend, Colter, McKenna, and Clayton.

Pastor Steve came to Placerita Baptist Church in 2001. He was saved in 1971 and has been involved over the years as a deacon, youth leader, teacher, and discipler in churches in Ohio, Michigan, New York, and California. He holds a bachelors degree in economics from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Steve and his wife Judy have been happily married since June 1963 and have four grown, married children: Steve, Scott, Mark, & Julie, and eleven grandchildren.
John Richard is a native of the East Coast, growing up in the Philadelphia area. He graduated from Cedarville College (now Cedarville University) in 1997 with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and his teaching credential. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from The Master's Seminary in 2001. He ministered at Calvary Bible Church of Burbank as a youth pastor for more than three years before coming to Placerita Baptist Church in April of 2004.
John met his wife Jamie at Grace Community Church and was married in July, 2000. They have five children; Joshua, Kaylee, Ashlyn, Ellie, and Dayton.

Aaron Johnson was born into a Christian family and came to know Christ personally as Lord and Savior at age 12. Although he started playing the piano at age 7, it wasn't until his sophmore year of college that the Lord worked on his heart to use music for God's glory in the church. Aaron graduated from The Master's College in 2005 with a B.M. in Church Music & Music Education and then graduated from the California State University of Northridge in 2008 with a Master's in Choral Conducting.
He was blessed to marry Kimberly in January 2008 and their daughter, Linnea Joy, was born August 18, 2009. God be praised for His grace and goodness!.

David Stolarski moved from Colorado to California in 1968 and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior after graduating high school in 1973 while attending Grace Community Church. Graduating from Los Angeles Baptist College in 1980, he has participated in a variety of ministries over the years including children, youth, college, and adults. David most recently served five years as Associate Pastor of Family Ministries at E.V. Free Church of the Canyons before coming to Placerita Baptist Church in 2004. He is presently enrolled in the Master of Divinty program at The Master's Seminary. David and his wife, Gloria, were married in August 1976 and have two daughters; Katie and Krista.
Philippe Viguier was born in Qubec, Canada, where his parents were missionaries for fifteen years. His family moved back to France, when he was ten years old, where his parents have been involved in the pastorate ever since in the southern city of Toulouse. Philippe graduated with his B.A. in Biblical Studies at The Master's College in 2008 and is currently enrolled at The Master's Seminary. He joined Placerita Baptist Church in 2005. His goal is to go back to France after finishing his schooling to preach the gospel.

Wendy Flynn moved to the Santa Clarita Valley seven years ago from the San Fernando Valley, where she grew up. She and her husband, Don, both attended Biola College (now Biola University); however, they actually met at Green Oaks Ranch in Vista, CA where they both spent the summer of 1977 as camp counselors. They were married in February 1980 at Grace Community Church where Wendy attended since high school and both Don and Wendy became members and served in various ministries before moving to Santa Clarita. They have three adult children; Joshua, Nathaniel, and Alison. Don and Wendy are members of PBC and are currently involved in the Audio Ministry.
Liz Peterson grew up as part of a pastor's family in Northern California and moved to Santa Clarita in 2001 to attend The Master's College. Having completed her undergraduate work in Liberal Studies, she is now pursuing a Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling through the MABC Program. Liz has a deep love for the local church and is excited to be part of furthering the ministry at Placerita Baptist Church. She looks forward to using her Biblical Counseling skills in everyday life and ministry. Grace Community Church is currently her home church.
Kristina Hammer was born and raised in Northern California and moved to Santa Clarita in the summer of 2005. She graduated from Frontier School of the Bible in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies and is now pursuing an MABC at The Master's College. She has a heart for the youth and participates in the PBC Choir, the Praying Hearts Ministry, and the Welcome Table Ministry. Placerita Baptist Church is currently her home church.
Terry McClain grew up in the San Fernando Valley and moved to the Santa Clarita Valley in 1982. She and her husband, Jeff, and two children, Cooper and Taylor, have been attending Placerita Baptist Church since the spring of 1999. Jeff and Terry have been married since 1981. Terry has been involved in the Women's Ministry in the Communications Branch, the Children's Ministry, the AWANA program, the Audio/Visual Ministry, and the PBC Choir along with other various ministries. Terry's husband, Jeff, is the Custodian at Placerita Church and they are both blessed to serve in the Lord's house. Placerita Baptist Church is currently their home church.

Jeff McClain grew up in the San Fernando Valley and moved to the Santa Clarita Valley in 1982. He and his wife, Terry, and two children, Cooper and Taylor, have been attending Placerita Baptist Church since the spring of 1999. Jeff and Terry have been married since 1981. Jeff has been involved in several men's ministries as well as helping other PBC ministries with the facilitation and use of the PBC campus. Jeff uses his skills to maintain and upgrade the PBC campus. Placerita Baptist Church is currently their home church.
